Pyromet 90
*trademark Carpenter Technologies
Pyromet 90 is a nickel chrome alloy that has a high percentages of Cobalt. Using aluminum and Titanium as agents to allow for age hardening. Pyromet 90 forms an oxide that protects it from progressive attack. It resists oxidation from repetative heating and cooling. This alloy displays high stress-rupture strength and creep resistance at temperatures to 1700 F.
